I'm Natalie Paulie, a fine art oil painter living on the island of Kaua'i.

​

I create impressionist paintings both outside in the raw elements-

En Plein Air- and in my studio. I work through wind, rain, and sun to paint the light as rainclouds pass & rainbows form, and at home where my imagination comes alive. 

 

Outside, I am completely immersed in the presence and wonder of nature. No matter where I am, I dip my hand into the wellspring of creative energy to paint what my heart yearns to express; to say what I cannot in words through

Color, Light & Magic.

I have loved art for as long as I can remember. I briefly studied art history in Paris and am deeply influenced by artists such as Renoir, Degas & Sargent. I have a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Southern California, but I am most myself with a paintbrush in hand.
